by TSN and made available to senior facilities in prior years.
Please be aware that these are FORMER programs and may no longer
be available, but they are here to give you an idea of the types of
programs offered by TSN:

Alzheimer’s
Disease, It’s More Than Just Memory Loss
Video
Seminar Program was created to educate seniors and caregivers about
Alzheimer’s disease and provide information on the early warning signs,
risk factors, and strategies to slow and manage the progression of Alzheimer’s
disease symptoms. Each kit contained the elements necessary for a senior
facility to conduct the program at their facility, without the need
for an outside speaker, and included:

20-minute VHS videotape (video “acts as the speaker”)

Handbook to guide the host on how to conduct a seminar at their
facility

Literature and handouts for
attendees
-
Reply cards for attendees to receive additional information on the
topic by mail

Announcement Posters and a Sample Press Release to help promote
the program locally

A simple Program Verification Form for the host to complete
“Get into the BP Success Zone” Educational Seminar and Screening
Event
This
program was aimed at educating adults on the dangers of uncontrolled
high blood pressure.
High blood pressure is an under-recognized public health crisis
affecting more than 50 percent of Americans age 60 and older.
As part of the Get
into the BP Success Zone event, participants heard the latest
information on high blood pressure including risk factors and
treatment options, and were screened by a healthcare professional.
