large-print wall magazine published every two months for display on the Wall
Information Board. It is filled with topical and timely articles of interest
to seniors, informative as well as fun. It is also accompanied by
informational take-away brochures.

Network News, our
four-page, four-color newsletter for facility directors includes
prize-winning programming ideas submitted from facilities nationwide, weekly
wellness tips to share with your seniors, articles about health and wellness
issues affecting seniors, contests, and information about TSN programs.
Educational
Seminars
–
Our FREE,
award-winning educational seminar kits contain everything you need to
promote and conduct an educational seminar without requiring a healthcare
professional be present. Each kit contains a video/DVD with professionally
written and produced content that serves as your “speaker”.
Seminar kits also include event promotion posters and flyers, a
facilitator’s guide and informational handouts for attendees.
Periodically, TSN also offers its members physician or RN-led seminars
in which we arrange for a healthcare professional from the local area to
conduct the event. TSN will
notify your facility when a new educational seminar program is available and
you simply “opt-in” to receive the program materials. Recent seminar topics
have included:
controlling diabetes, relief from shingles pain, osteoarthritis of the knee,
stroke prevention, and hypertension.
Special Programs
– From time to time, we also offer special programs such as free health
screenings or free product samples. In the past, TSN provided facilities
with a free blood pressure monitor in conjunction with a seminar on
hypertension. Another recent program entitled
Heartfelt for Life provided an exercise DVD to every attendee of
the program.
